New Delhi: As per reports Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s executive is unlikely to accept Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation as convenor of the party. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had resigned as convener of AAP moments before the crucial meeting of party executive in Delhi today. The executive meeting was called by AAP to decide the fate of rebel leaders Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan.

In his resignation latter, the Delhi Chief Minister has reportedly said he is “too busy” with his work in the Delhi and feels “over-burdened”. He said he will not be able to handle both the jobs “efficiently” and wants to concentrate on Delhi only, which his party won recently with a historic mandate.
“There is a crossroads situation…This is the time to take a step back and give each other time to reconsider. We need to keep an eye on reality and it is that AAP is growing,” Anand Kumar reportedly told a News channel (Times Now).
“That is why we are thinking and one thing is very clear, the party needs Arvind Kejriwal as its national convenor,” he said.
He also said that Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav had withdrawn from the PAC verbally and it would be taken up in the executive meet.
