Faridkot: Sikh organization and a Punjabi vernacular ‘Rozana Pehredar’ has announced to hold four ‘Vangaar Marches’ to raise mass support in favour of Bapu Surat Singh, who is on fast-unto death from January 16. He is demanding release of Sikh political prisoners who have already completed minimum mandatory terms of their sentences.

Jaspal Singh Heiran, editor of Rozana Pehredar, told Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) over phone that Sikh sangat and Rozana Pehredar will be holding a Vangaar march on March 3 in Faridkot district today. He said that the march would pass through Faridkot city, Baghapurana, Samalsar, Panjgarain, Kotkapura, Sadiq, Golewala, Jaitu, Bajakhana and Bariwala Mandi.
He said that the Sikh sangat and Rozana Pehredar shall hold three more marches to spread awareness about the case of Sikh political prisoners.
Marches will be held a Bathinda (March 5), Baranala (March 7) and Firozepur (March 9).
