Chandigarh: Former deputy Chief Minister of Punjab and SAD (Badal) leader Sukhbir Badal was elected legislature Party leader here on Monday.
Former Chief Parliamentary Secretary and Adampur MLA Pawan Kumar Teenu was elected chief whip of the legislature party.

This was decided unanimously by members of the legislature party in a meeting presided over by Party Patron and former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.
The Members brought on record the services rendered by SAD (Badal) president Sukhbir Badal during the last ten years and also appreciated the development done during SAD (Badal)-BJP rule. They said the party would play the role of a constructive opposition under Mr Sukhbir Badal’s leadership and continue to work for the welfare of Punjab.
