Srinagar: A shocking video has gone viral on the internet showing a local Kashmiri boy tied to the front of a moving army jeep in Kashmir. The video was shared by former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah shared on his Twitter account.
In his Tweet former CM of J&K wrote “This young man was TIED to the front of an army jeep to make sure no stones were thrown at the jeep? This is just so shocking!”.

The video has evoked immense anger among people, with demands for an investigation into such brutalities being carried out by the Indian Army in Kashmir, notes media reports.
It is widely precived by the local population that the act has been carried out by the Indian forces to vent out there frustration ascribing to the last election boycott by the people of valley during which it was reported that some of the CRP personnels on election duty were roughed up by the protesting crowd.
“A boy killed from point blank range and another boy tied to the army jeep. What to do after seeing these videos,” reads a quote from a tweet of a Kashmiri boy Wasim Dar.
Media reports indicate that many such videos have emerged on social media sites today, after internet services were restored in Kashmir Valley on Thursday night. Internet services were suspended after Sunday’s deadly violence that led to the death of eight civilians in firing by Indian security forces.
