“The police have booked Manjinder Singh s/o Manjit Singh r/o Hussainpura, Patiala under FIR number 125, dated 23/04/17 under section 25 Arms Act and sections 10, 11 and 13 or Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA). The fir is registered at PS Basti Jodhewal”, informed Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur.

He said that Manjinder Singh was presented before the court of JMIC Dr. Sushil Bodh who sent Manjinder Singh on 2 days police remand.

“The police were seeking 7 days police remand but we informed the court that the police story was fabricated as Manjinder Singh was arrested from Raj Singh house on Saturday morning and not from some other place on Sunday as claimed by the police in the FIR. We told the court that an email was already sent on Saturday night to the Punjab and Haryana High Court about Manjinder Singh’s arrest (along with Raj Singh). The judge took note of these facts but sent Manjinder Singh on two days police remand” he added.
