Chandigarh: The Punjab and Haryana High Court today granted bail to Sikh Political Prisoner Bhai Harminder Singh Mintoo in a case registered under FIR number 103/2009, at Police station Bhogpur. This case was registered under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), Indian Penal Code (IPC), Arms Act and Explosives Act.

Bhai Harminder Singh Mintoo’s council Advo. Bhanu Partap informed that the bail was granted by Justice Surinder Gupta of Punjab and Haryana High Court on Friday (April 21).
Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur told Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) over phone that Bhai Harminder Singh Mintoo was arrested from IGI Airport Delhi under this case (F. I. R. 103/9 P. S. Bhogpur). He said that Bhai Harminder Singh Mintoo is facing 12 cases of which he is granted bail in 3 cases and 4 other cases are nearing conclusion.
