32 Years After Sikh Genocide 1984: Delhi Court Asks suspect Jagdish Tytler about His Wish to Undergo Lie Detector Test

New Delhi: A Delhi court on Tuesday reportedly asked Congress leader and Sikh genocide 1984 suspect Jagdish Tytler to clearly answer whether he wants to undergo a lie-detector test. Jagdish Tytler has been given a clean chit by the CBI but the victims have challenged CBI’s clean chit in a local court.

“Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Shivali Sharma said she does not want any conditional consent and directed Tytler to file an affidavit with his answer or else appear before the court in person”, notes a report in The Tribune (TT).

The court also issued similar direction to businessman Abhishek Verma and said the probe agency’s plea seeking permission for lie-detector test on Jagdish Tytler and Verma was maintainable.
