Chandigarh: The Punjab Government on Thursday (May 18) issued Transfer/ Posting of 7 IAS and 27 PCS officers with immediate effect.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson said that out of 7 IAS officers, Vikas Garg, posted as Special Secretary, Agriculture and in addition Director General, Agriculture, Horticulture & Soil Conservation and in addition MD, Punjab Agro Industries Corporation Ltd.,. The services of Basant Garg, has been placed at the disposal of the department of Local Government for posting as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar and in addition Chief Administrator, Jalandhar Development authority, Jalandhar, Sibin C posted as Director, Rural Development and Panchayats and ex-officio Special Secretary, Rural Development and Panchyats and in addition Secretary, Punjab State Commission for NRI’s and in addition Joint Development Commissioner, Integrated Rural Development and in addition Commissioner, NREGA , Anindita Mitra as Director, Food, Civil supplies and Consumer Affairs and in addition Chief Executive officer, PEDA, Shivdular Singh Dhillon as Special Secretary-cum-Director, Tourism, Cultural Affairs, Museums, Archives & Archeology and in addition GM., Virasat-E_Khalsa, Anandpur Sahib Foundation and in addition Managing Director, Punjab Tourism Development Corporation Ltd.
