Amritsar: The Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC) today announced a five member committee to elect Vice Chancellor of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib. Making this announcement SGPC chief Kirpal Singh Badungar said that the post of VC of SGGS World University had fell vacant after resignation of Dr. Gurmohan Singh Walia.

He said that the committee appointed to elect new VC comprises former principal secretary Rupinder Singh Mann (IAS), former chairman of Public Service Commission Amarjit Singh Sidhu (IAS), former Punjab and Haryana High Court judge Nirmal Singh former principal secretary Darbara Singh Guru and SGPC member Advocate Paramjit Kaur Landran.
