Chandigarh: As per the media reports the Punjab unit Aam Adami Party (AAP) leader and Bholath MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira here on Sunday alleged that by defending Justice Narang who had close proximity with Power Minister Rana Gurjit, Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh was not only influencing the probe but also becoming a party to the mining scandal.

Apparently, he said that Amarinder Singh was going overboard to defend Justice Narang, particularly when it had been clearly established that his son was the counsel of Rana Gurjeet Singh’s family.
Furthermore, he added that Amarinder Singh had already given a clean chit to Minister Rana Gurjeet Singh by terming the mining scandal a media hype and that his minister would come clean in the investigations. “If the CM is so sure about his minister’s credentials despite clear evidence against him, why did he order a probe,” he asked.
