The court extended his police remand for 1 more day. Notably, the case FIR no. 7/16 (PS Division no. 2, Ludhiana) pertains to incident of firing at Kidwai Nagar Shakha of Hindutva outfit RSS. The court sent him to judicial custody in this case.

Defence council Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur told Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) that after Jagtar Singh Jaggi was committed to judicial custody in Kidwai Nagar Shakha case, he was arrested by the police in case FIR no. 6/17 (PS Division No. 8) and was sent to police remand for 5 days in this case. FIR no. 6/17 (PS Division No. 8, LDH) pertains to killing of Shiv Sena activist Amit Sharma.
Meanwhile, the police remand of Taljit Singh @ Jimmy Singh was extended (on Dec. 6) for 1 more day in case FIR no. 7/16 (PS Division no. 2, Ludhiana), which pertains to incident of firing at Kidwai Nagar Shakha of Hindutva outfit RSS.
