With Around 42% Vote Share, AAP Set to Get 78% Seats in Punjab Assembly

Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is heading for a major electoral victory in Punjab state assembly election. Votes were polled for the state assembly on 20 February. Aam Aadmi Party took a lead soon after trends started to come after counting of votes started this morning.

As per ECI website Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is leading on 92 seats. Congress is trailing in second position with a lead on 18 seats. SAD (Badal) has been marginalised to margins with a lead on just 3 seats. BJP is leading on 2 seats and BSP is leading on 1 seat. Rana Inder Partap Singh, who contested election as an independent candidate is leading from Sultanpur Lodhi.
