Indian Army strikes along side LoC; DGMO maintains ‘significant casualties’

New Delhi: Indian Army today maintained to have conducted strikes on certain places termed as “terror launch pads” along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir”. Director General Military Operations (DGMO) said that the strike were carried last night and inflicted significant casualties and heavy damages.

DGMO Lt Gen Ranveer Singh told media persons during a hurriedly called news conference that he has also informed the Pak army’s DGMO about last night’s strikes. External affairs ministry spokesman Vikas Swarup was also present during this press conference.

India’s DGMO maintained that they have also arrested some (suspected) ‘terrorists’. He said that India was ready to share DNA details of arrested and killed persons, for their investigations. He said that India had no plans to continue with such strikes.
