Defamation case by Bikram Majithia: AAP leader Sanjay Singh gets bail from Ludhiana court

Ludhiana: A Ludhiana Court today granted bail to Aam Aadmi Party’s senior leader Sanjay Singh in a defamation case. The defamation suit was filed against Sanjay Singh by ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) leader and Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Majithia last month after Sanjay Singh had accused Bikram Majithia for patronising illicit drugs trade and abuse in the state.

Sanjay Singh who had earlier announced to not to apply for bail reportedly furnished personal bail bond of Rs. 50,000 to avail the bail.
