Agriculture and Environment Center is calling for paddy reduction in Punjab in order save ground water. The Center is holding Water Awareness March and meeting environmentalists, agriculture experts and successful farmers practicing natural farming, or using farming techniques which save water.
In this series the team of Agriculture and Environment Center visited village Rangilpur near Batala and met farmer Gurmukh Singh.
S. Gurmukh Singh has been practicing natural farming since 2013. He does not use any kind of chemical fertilizer or insecticide/pesticide or weedicide. He sows traditional crops of Punjab and uses indigenous seeds.
